I’ve now been to Le Plomb twice. It was the first time I tried Aligot and has now become the yard stick for all Aligots that have followed.
On this occasion my group and I visited just for the dessert, the dessert of the century. A apple tart with creme brulée. The food destroys me every time and I go away full to the brim.
The prices are a touch less than your average Montparnasse restaurant but thats not to say on average Paris is very expensive when compared to say London, New York or Barcelona.
The staff are friendly and prompt in their service. There’s a nice mix between heated outdoor and indoor seating. The venue is situated in a busy district with plenty to do.
